A Big Elbe Thanks for Coming to my Open House!

If you didn’t make it by Elbe Body-Massage Therapy studio last night, you missed a really awesome gathering.    You missed Luis’  fabulous classical guitar performance, happy door prize winners, scrumptious cake by Jerry, delicious hors’ dourves by the Koop Sisters, and lots of mixing and mingling.   I am honored by all your support and, while a bit apprehensive about my start-up status, I know that with your backing Elbe Body-Massage Therapy will be a success in no time.

My heartfelt thanks to all my sisters…Lesley, Jinnifer, Wiede and Shirley.  They made the refreshments happen and have helped to keep my spirits up as I transition into this new chapter of my life.  Mom, I appreciate all you do and have done.  Aunt Babe, the gift plant you sent is tremendous, a perfect addition to the space (Les will send pictures)!  Deb, thanks for MCing the door prizes.  Luis, guitar stringz extraordinary!  Raquel, you rock!  A special shout out to Jinnifer’s Creations, Wiede’s Wire, and Shirley’s Adorables! Jerry, another fine cake!  To Dan and the Amplify Financial Team, once more you have gone beyond investing, thank you!  Also, Honey Milk Farms and of course, Dynamic Bodyworks.  Joe, here we go!

My name is Linda Elizabeth Koop, aka Linda Beth. Being the fifth of five sisters, I was soon referred to as LB and it stuck. As I was contemplating the name for my business, I wanted to relate the feeling of calm and tranquility to a name that was unique and undiscovered. I have always been fascinated with sandwiching the LB between two E's to create ELBE (pronounced LB) Before I went too far, I did a bit of research and found that Elbe is actually the name of a river in Germany. Being of German descent, I saw this as providence and settled on the name Elbe Body.
