My name is Linda Elizabeth Koop, aka Linda Beth. Being the fifth of five sisters, I was soon referred to as LB and it stuck. As I was contemplating the name for my business, I wanted to relate the feeling of calm and tranquility to a name that was unique and undiscovered. I have always been fascinated with sandwiching the LB between two E’s to create ELBE (pronounced LB) Before I went too far, I did a bit of research and found that Elbe is actually the name of a river in Germany. Being of German descent, I saw this as providence and settled on the name Elbe Body.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist educated at The Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage. I chose this school because of their extensive curriculum that allows for a more extensive study of advanced modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Shiatsu Massage training. Additionally Lauterstein-Conway offers a community of like-minded therapists and continuing education to maintain current licensing.

Upon my graduation in 2006, I began my massage career offering private sessions. I then secured a position with the Mokora Hotel & Spa on the San Antonio Riverwalk.

My interest in anatomy and physiology culminated with my study of pre-veterinarian science. With that in mind, I attended Texas A&M University and received my Bachelor of Science in Animal Science-Science Option. Upon graduation, I joined my sister on the S/Y Drumbeat II in the sunny Caribbean. The island bug bit me and I stayed for eight years serving as Stewardess at M/Y Charisma, Chief Stewardess at M/Y Life’s Finest II, Stewardess at S/Y Irishman and several others. To further my travel lust, I set out on a sail across the Atlantic Ocean on the S/Y Logos, a 32 foot Columbia, which proved to be an adventurous and action filled voyage.

Returning stateside, I secured employment in the financial industry working as a Client Service Specialist at Amplify Financial in Austin, Texas. I now launch my Elbe Body endeavor and thank you for visiting my website, welcome you to peruse my services and invite you to schedule a session.
