Life’s Little Inconveniences

Hello Dear Ones, hope all is well with you today.  Yesterday I attended a meeting with my sister introducing a more balanced and nutritious lifestyle through a product I have been using for about three weeks now.  (Thank you sister.)  While I haven’t necessarily noticed a big change, I have realized that I am experiencing a series of gradual changes that are almost unnoticeable on a daily basis.  If I compare how I am today to how I was three weeks ago, I must admit I am more energetic and feel my body responding positively to the new regime.

I receive a plethora of emails and postings daily and many resonate with happenings in my life or the lives of those I care about.  I received this message from Mary Morrissey’s Daily Dream Builder email today and as she says “…arriving in your life when you need it most.”  Thank you Mary.

“I once noticed a traffic sign where there was some construction going on and it read:  ‘Inconvenience temporary, improvement permanent.  Thanks for your cooperation.’

Isn’t that true in life, as well?  Sometimes when we need to make an improvement — maybe increase an exercise program, change our eating, or learn to use our time more wisely — at first it just seems like an inconvenience.

I think that’s the universe speaking to us today.  Each one of us could lean into the question, ‘What is the one thing I could be doing more of right now that would improve my life if I did it?’

Go ahead; it’s okay to be temporarily inconvenienced because the improvement is permanent.

Enjoy The Improvement,

Mary Morrissey”

Establishing new daily routines: inconvenient
Permanent improvement:  priceless

Blessings to all.  Les

About

Hello, Lesley Arleen Koop here. My sister Linda Beth, LB, of Elbe Body – Massage Therapy, asked me to help her out by posting on her web site blog. Being the dutiful eldest sister I am and a helper kind and good, I whole-heartedly agreed. I enjoy research and writing and so far this has proven to be a very interesting journey, not unlike the life I live. As I re-post, I include the URL so you can find more info about the subject or the author. I hope you enjoy. I may even share a few poems here and there as they are my passion. And remember, whatever happens along the way, “It is what it is.” Love Ever Strengthens Love Ever Yields. Live Life Relaxed.
